The Profile of Mr Nicholas Bredimus — Inventor & Designer Extraordinaire
Hailing from New Jersey, Nicholas Bredimus united the spheres of airlines, software, and hospitality and revolutionized all three industries. His career highlights include time-saving computer software, aircraft safety enhancements, and he’s even involved in designing luxury houses. Whatever his attention turns to, he will allot all of his energy to it.
His family tree will reveal all you need to know regarding his talents and the amount he has done. Drawn together from many nationalities, his clan can be traced to the time of ancient Rome, with his mother’s branch predominantly Scottish and German. The paternal line, on the other side, hailed from England and Luxembourg, from where they emigrated toward the end of the 19th century. Once in the U.S., the family still strove to rise in the world. Growing up one of seven children — three boys and four girls — Nicholas had a father employed as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. He settled for a time in Kansas City, Texas, Arizona and Virginia.
He’s worked in high powered posts with businesses throughout the air travel sector — many of them major brands. Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest — these businesses would all at one time or another appoint him as a vice president. But the airlines have felt the need to be grateful, above all, for services in the realm of computer programming. Mr Nicholas Bredimus is easily most famous for a US Airways project, developing aircraft upkeep software, destined to become the industry standard. He programmed many other programs for the airline and hospitality sector as well, among them automatic systems to take and record flight reservations, used by fifty or more airlines, not to mention the original desktop computer based room reservation program for the hotel industry, which was initially rolled out at more than 700 locations. He went on to code QuikTix, an automated ticketing network.
He has also been appointed to a number of positions outside of software development as well. He managed American Express’ computer wing, founded Bredimus Systems seventeen years ago, and became the inaugural president of a major American Airlines division. Having departed from the roles in which he first experienced fortune, his abilities are nonetheless still exercised daily. He is now involved in the architectural questions tied to the evolution of environmentally safe, high tech high priced homes. It’s really astonishing how far desire can take you.
