The ‘Locanda dei Guelfi’ it’s a comfortable and agreeable place: there are nice bedrooms, all with a private bathroom, precious furniture in style, with elegant tapestries which surround our guests of a warm atmosphere.

Recentely integrally restored, is located in the historical center of Florence, at the third floor of a beautiful building XVIII century, a few steps away from S. Maria Novella Central Railway Station and from the Cathedral, close to Expo Business Center and to the most important Monuments and Museums.

Locanda dei Guelfi is located on historical centre of Florence, few minutes walking from Central Rail station SANTA MARIA NOVELLA.
It’s very easy from us to arrive walking to the most important monuments and buildings of Florence: the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi’s and Accademia’s Galleries, Ponte Vecchio, etc.
Few hundreds of meters to the Congress Palace and “Fortezza da Basso”, expositions and congresses places.

Just outside our door you can find:

and much more you can need no more than 1 minute walking …

HOW TO REACH THE LOCANDA DEI GUELFI

By train
From Santa Maria Novella train station you can reach us by taxi or on foot. Leave the station from the side where platform 16 is located – left with trains on your back - and turn right on the sidewalk and then left on Via Nazionale, after 200m approximately, turn right Via Guelfa, the right at number 45. It is about a 5 minutes walk from the station.

The Relais is ten minutes from the main square, Piazza Tasso, and is also very near the ferry boat harbour and the railway station. Staff will be on hand to give any local information regarding daily excursions by hydrofoil to Capri, Ischia and Procida, train services to Pompei, Herculaneum and Naples and bus services along the Amalfi coast.

It is situated 300 metres from the railway station to Naples and Pompei, 50 metres from the bus stop to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Marina della Lobra and Marina del Cantone. Only 500 metres separate the Relais from the ferry boat harbour that connects Sorrento to Ischia, Capri, Naples and Positano. Also to be found nearby are shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, bars, boutiques - all located on the main street (Corso Italia), and craft shops in the historical centre called the “Schizzariello”.
